CME carries thousands of spare parts to support the OEM product line, hire fleet & the underground coal industry. CME can same day expedite parts to all major Australian coal basins.

RSF Workshop

The experienced personnel in the CME NSW & QLD workshops inspect, service, repair, overhaul & maintain compliance of underground equipment. Four key accreditations are part of CME’s commitment to providing first class overhaul & workshop capabilities:

  • NATA Mechanical
  • NATA Electrical & AS3800
  • NSW Recognised Service Facility (RSF)
  • ISO 9001

Cougar Mining Equipment’s capabilities include a welding bay, machine shop, service exchange program, electrical inspections & repairs supported by planning, compliance & demand management to meet rapid turnaround times.  CME manages fire suppression requirements, material NDT, exhaust gas testing and hydraulic, drivetrain & powertrain system overhauls as a one-stop shop for industry overhauls.

Predator

Cougar offers comprehensive overhauls for a range of personnel carriers. The Predator overhaul includes a full machine rebuild plus integration of Cougar’s 83 kW diesel engine system

Diesel Field Service

CME field service technicians are mobilised 24/7 or for planned shifts from Newcastle, Wollongong, and Central Queensland to support customers hiring CME equipment or requiring experienced site diesel maintenance personnel. RIISS00030 qualified and competent technicians experienced in critical maintenance of underground diesel equipment comply with both NSW & Qld underground mining industry requirements and are inducted for planned or unplanned tasks required by mining customers, including replacing absent personnel, equipment maintenance during longwall relocations, onsite driftrunner DES Code D overhauls, as well as underground and surface maintenance of run of mine diesel fleets.
